I have designed this website to be unique, with the use of illustrations and a simple layout creating easy navigation through each category in the website. Contrary to standard news websites, I wanted this to appeal to a younger audience with funky images, fonts and pastel color palette. Instead of a general news website I added other categories such as pop culture, sports updates, art events etc to create a point of difference and to lure in a wider range of users.

My main aim for the website was to focus on user navigation and easability, as I feel this is important in any website or app.
