I wanted to create a solution that inspired retired people to connect with others and eat healthy meals. Not only did I want them to connect, I wanted to help them discover a community of people who shared the same interests to enhance their sense of belonging. By creating a community of like-minded individuals who could talk over a shared, healthy meal, retired people will no longer be isolated or lonely. It is important to give retired people knowledge and access to healthy meal options that will improve their health and make them live a longer, more fulfilling life. Giving them recipe options, different cuisines and food themes will excite, and inspire them to take action towards a healthier life style.

Dine With Me allows retired citizens to find like minded people in their area to connect with, and get to know over a shared dinner. The app divides groups into specific interests and shows the other members details so you can chose who you want to get to know.

In terms of design I have used photography in the advertising, so that people get a sense of what the experience will be like. I have done this to attract and entice people to join the app.

The app is simple to navigate, which is important as the target audience are retired citizens who may not be experienced with technology. I have used a vast amount of images to help them navigate through the app easily.
